Muddy Boots Club is our opportunity to provide unstructured, free play time on the beautiful school property. We supervise the children and observe their play. We make our rules together to begin our club:
Who goes first? The teacher!
Can you have a stick to play with? Yes-the length of your arm. (the children learn quickly to "measure" their stick.) And sticks are not for hitting or swinging, but holding and digging and drumming on trees is just fine!
Once outside, we stay on the trails together, finding spots to stay and play along the way. The children find logs to sit on and bounce on together, Lots of smiles, lots of play.
